Liz and I went shopping in Chilliwack yesterday and parked near the Cottonwood Mall on Luckakuck Way and spotted interesting construction in the front of the Mall right beside Earls Restaurant. The crew were digging what looks like sites for power transformers and marking the laneway to the west of Earls.This is exciting!
To update today, on Oct 7th I revisited the Cottonwood Mall and they have made some great progress. There appears to be upcoming 8 sites I believe, 2 rows of 4 across facing each other, These are located a quick walk from both the mall and Earls restaurant just behind the charging area. Stopped by on Nov 4th and the chargers are installed and should be ready for use in 4 to 6 weeks if all goes well … See the latest photo below
Stopped by again on Dec 2 and looks like the chargers are ready to be turned on .. maintenance chaps were cleaning up the grounds and chargers. Maybe our Christmas Present from Tesla !
Recently in Jan 2022 I had a opportunity to visit Cottonwood Mall and actually park in the Supercharger stalls. No power yet but must be getting closer – we Hope.
