Hello Brock, I tapped into the mic panel with a separate 2 amp fuse keeping the receptacle for future use. The power is constant On, so Blackvue works in parking mode too.
As indicated by Paul, glove light can be another source, but I want to keep the wire as short as possible, leaving the cigarette lighter cord for spare when I reconnect a new plug to it.
